Good news for you

Grace. Faith. Jesus.

The gospel is good news.

Open the Scriptures alongside this guide. We want you to see the message in God’s Word for yourself.

01

We need a Savior.

All of us have sinned and fall short of God’s holiness. Sin separates us from Him; we cannot repair that separation by being religious or trying to outweigh our wrongs with good deeds.

Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23
02

Jesus has done what we cannot.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. His death and resurrection are the heart of the gospel. God’s love reaches us in our need, before we have made ourselves worthy.

1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Romans 5:8
03

Receive God’s gift through faith.

You are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus, rather than by earning it. Turn to God, acknowledge your sin, and trust Jesus and His finished work. Good works flow from a new life in Christ; they are not the price of salvation.

Ephesians 2:8–10; Acts 16:31
04

Call on Jesus.

The Bible invites you to believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess Him as Lord. Come to Him honestly. Your confidence belongs in the living Savior and His promise, rather than in your ability to perform perfectly.

Romans 10:9–13; John 10:28–29
An honest response

Come to Jesus
as you are.

You can speak to God in your own words. A prayer can express your faith; the exact wording is not what saves you. Your trust is in Jesus Christ.

John 3:16–18

If it helps you begin, you might pray:

“God, I know I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again. I am trusting Him to save me. Thank You for Your grace. Help me follow Jesus and grow in Your Word.”
The promise rests with Christ. Salvation is received by faith, not by repeating a formula, making a donation, or joining this ministry. You can come to Him right now.
Begin your walk

Keep growing in Him.

Following Jesus is a new beginning. Take simple, faithful steps and grow alongside other believers.

Open the Bible.

Start with the Gospel of John. Read a little each day and ask what the passage shows you about Jesus.

John 1

Talk with God.

Pray honestly. Thank Him, confess your struggles, and ask for wisdom as you learn to follow Him.

Philippians 4:6–7

Walk with believers.

Find a church that teaches the Bible and centers on Jesus. Learn about baptism as an expression of your faith, and share your new trust in Christ.

Acts 2:41–42
Do I have to become a better person first?

You come to Jesus because you need His grace. You cannot earn salvation by improving yourself. As you follow Him, His work in your life produces growth and good works.

Ephesians 2:8–10
Does believing require understanding every question?

You can trust Jesus while continuing to learn. Salvation does not depend on mastering archaeology, choosing a creation chronology, or agreeing with every conversation on this site.

Acts 16:31
Where does assurance come from?

Look to Jesus and the promises of His Word. He gives eternal life to His sheep and holds them securely. Bring your questions to Scripture and speak with a trusted, Bible-teaching pastor or mature Christian.

John 10:27–29; 1 John 5:11–13
